How many revisions do I get?

As many as it takes to get the layout right. Revisions on screen cost nothing compared with changing built cabinetry, so we would rather you used them.

Can I see the rendering before I decide anything?

That is the point of it. You approve the rendering in the showroom, with the actual door samples and hardware in your hand, before we order or build.

Do you work from an architect's or builder's plans?

Regularly. Send the plans across and we will design the cabinetry into them, then verify against a site measure before anything is ordered.

What do you need from me to start?

Rough dimensions and some sense of what is not working about the room now. We take it from there at the measure.

Changes are free on screen and expensive once cabinetry has been built. So we design first: the layout, the storage, the door style, the finish, and the hardware, all decided while they are still drawings.

The design is not a separate product we sell you. It is how the job gets specified, and it is the reason our installations do not turn into a list of surprises.

What the design stage covers

3D rendering

A rendering of the finished room from the angles you will actually stand in, revised until it is right. It is the difference between imagining the kitchen and seeing it.

Personalized design consultation

We sit down with how you use the room — where you cook, what you store, who is in there at once — before we draw anything. The layout comes out of that conversation.

Space planning

Clearances, walkways, appliance placement, and door swings worked out on the plan. Most of what makes a room pleasant to be in is decided here and never noticed afterwards.

Finish and hardware selection

Door styles, paints, stains, and glazes, with decorative hardware chosen alongside them. We are an authorized hardware dealer, so the pulls are selected with the doors in front of you rather than from a catalogue afterwards.
